When you tour Europe there is more than just the sights to see—there is the food to experience. Here in America we are prone to use the cheapest ingredients, and cook them using the quickest method, and then we eat it on the fly. In European countries like France and Italy eating is an experience—not just a meal. They use fresh seasonal food that has integrity and quality and their cooking methods take time and love and the results are eaten slowly while savoring every bite and enjoying the fellowship of those around.

Here at Shepherd’s Hill Farm we want to bring that experience to you and we can think of no better way than a night of Italian food using seasonal foods sourced fresh from our gardens and farm.

We are inviting you to join us for a short walking tour of the gardens and farm animals, followed by an evening of salad and PIZZA ! Yes, we are teaming up with Kalacrow Woodfired Pizza. They take pizza seriously.

Kalacrow Pizza is a farm to table catering business that specializes in quality pizza.  This event will highlight veggies grown in Shepherd's Hill's gardens and meats from the pastures, as they create a lovely garden salad & fresh pizzas. Beverages will include their classic maple lemonade & a house kombucha mocktail. Dessert will be simple yet elegant and served with an herbal hot tea. Aside from the food grown at the farm, Kalacrow uses high quality ingredients and practices in their dough, and in sourcing the other ingredients used to bring this meal together. These events are truly one of a kind and we love sharing them with you all.  We look forward to welcoming you to the farm!

This is an alcohol free event.

This dinner takes place on our working farm—so please dress according to the weather and wear proper footwear; we suggest flat, close-toed shoes or boots. The event is held outside, so please bring layers so that you can be as comfortable as possible throughout the evening.
